2 Check whether there are scratches, cracks and other defects on the surface of the dynamic ring. These defects will cause severe leakage of the mechanical seal for the slurry pump. If possible, special tools can be used to check whether the sealing surface is flat or not. If the sealing surface is uneven, pressure water will enter the dynamic ring sealing surface of the mechanical seal after assembly, separating the dynamic ring, and the mechanical seal will fail. If necessary, the tooling can be manufactured for hydrostatic test before assembly.

3 Check whether the dynamic ring seat has shortcomings that affect the sealing. For example, is there any defect in the cooperation surface between the dynamic ring seat and the dynamic ring seal ring.

4 Check whether the mechanical seal compensating tension spring is damaged and deformed, and whether the tenacity coefficient changes.

5 Check whether there are burrs, grooves and other defects in the seal shaft sleeve.

6 Clean and check whether there are cracks, pores and other defects in all sealing rubber rings, and measure whether the diameter of rubber rings is within the tolerance range. For mechanical seals with pumping organization, check whether the spiral line of the screw pump has defects such as cracks and broken lines.
