I The seal is firm, and the mechanical seal will not leak or rarely leak during a long service life. Clean, no dead corner, can avoid contamination of miscellaneous bacteria. 　　 

II The mechanical seal with long service life and accurate selection of conflicting load specific pressure can be used for 2-5 years, and the longest service life is 9 years. 　　 

III The maintenance cycle is long, and no maintenance is required under the condition of normal mechanical seal standard operation.

IV The shaft or sleeve shall not be worn. 　　 

V Low conflict power consumption, usually about 10~50% of stuffing box seal

VI The precision and finish of the mechanical seal to the shaft are not as strict as the requirements of the stuffing box. The mechanical seal is not sensitive to the vibration of the mechanical seal of the rotating shaft reactor and the deflection of the shaft to the shell hole, and is less sensitive to the vibration of the shaft. 　　 

VII It can be used for sealing corrosive, abrasive, flammable, explosive and toxic media at low temperature, high temperature, high vacuum, high pressure, various rotating speeds.

Defects:

1) Relatively complex, high request for processing

2) Compared with installation and replacement, it is troublesome and requires workers to have a certain level of skill

3) It is difficult to deal with accidental accidents.
