1、 Installation instructions
This installation manual is prepared to make users familiar with the installation of our mechanical seals. Please read this manual carefully before installation. It is recommended that the installation operator should have some professional knowledge and skills in mechanical seal. 2、 Installation preparation
1. Prepare appropriate mechanical seals, and remove old mechanical seals, seals and sealing devices as required.
2. Clean the sealing chamber and check whether the mounting surfaces are damaged. Check whether the installation and connection dimensions related to the mechanical seal meet the requirements.
3. To avoid damage to auxiliary seal or related components. The chamfer (20 ° x2mm) shall be processed on the shaft shoulder with non-metallic element sliding, and the chamfer shall be processed on the position with keyway, counterbore and sharp corner. The surface roughness of the position with seal ring sliding shall be less than 0.8 μ m. The metal surface roughness at the sealing position of stationary ring is less than 3.2 μ m。
3、 Installation
1. Disassemble the mechanical seal package, be careful not to scratch the non-metallic elements (the sealing gear of metal elements should also not be scratched), and pay attention not to collide the sealing end face with hard objects.
2. Installation Cartridge mechanical seal Pay attention to prevent the gland gasket from falling off or missing. The groove of stationary ring of non cartridge mechanical seal shall be aligned with the anti rotation pin. After the stationary ring seal block and the stationary ring seal cavity are oiled, put the auxiliary seal sleeve into the stationary ring seal block, lay it flat on the stationary ring seal cavity, place soft foam on the end face (other soft materials can not damage the end face), and apply force evenly until the stationary ring is pressed into the working position of the stationary ring cavity. Be careful when moving ring is inserted into shaft or shaft sleeve. If there is a boss, first place the "0" ring, then the moving ring, and then evenly insert the "0" ring into the moving ring seal, and then repeat the pressing steps.
3. Thread the mechanical seal onto the shaft or shaft sleeve stably, and tighten the flange nuts symmetrically and evenly in turn until they are adjusted to the working position.

5. Screw off the screws of the cylinder pack and remove the cylinder pack to complete the installation of the mechanical seal.
4、 Operation
1. Discharge the air in the sealing box as much as possible to ensure that the liquid can fill the sealing device. Do not run dry.
2. Ensure that all sealing system pipe fittings are well connected and the system is in working condition. Slowly rotate the pump shaft and observe whether the seal leaks. Minor leakage may occur, but it will gradually decrease. If the leakage continues, it indicates that the sealing device is installed incorrectly or there is a problem with the sealing device, and it should be stopped immediately. The pump should be disassembled to find out the cause and reassemble.
