The coating of base course treatment agent should first be accurately proportioned and evenly stirred. When using multi-component mechanical seal base course treatment agent, the amount of use should be determined according to the effective time. The expired or gelatinized base course treatment agent should not be used because its quality cannot be guaranteed, its bonding ability is reduced, and its water prevention effect is affected. The base course treatment agent shall be painted after the back lining material is laid. The base course treatment agent shall be painted evenly without omission. After the surface of the base course treatment agent is dry, the sealing material shall be embedded immediately. The construction method of synthetic polymer sealing material is as follows.

① The multi-component sealing material is a reaction curing type, and the mix proportion of its mechanical seals must be accurate. It is advisable to use a portable electric mixer to mix for 3min, and the mixing is even, otherwise it cannot fully react, which will reduce the material quality. The mixed materials should be used up within the specified time. The mechanical seal quantity of each mixing pump should be determined according to the consumption, Different mixing time and temperature specified by different manufacturers are the key factors that determine the construction quality of multi-component sealing materials.

② The filling of synthetic polymer sealing materials is very important. The filling must eliminate defects such as fullness, depression, omission, entrapment of bubbles, holes, etc. These defects will affect the waterproof quality. The single component sealing material can be filled with an extrusion gun, and the extrusion nozzle with proper diameter shall be selected according to the width of the joint to evenly extrude the sealing material, and the filling shall gradually fill the entire joint from the bottom. The multi-component sealing material is generally filled with putty knife. First, a small amount of sealing material is scraped on both sides of the joint groove. Then, the sealing material is filled in the joint by several times, pressed tightly, and firmly bonded with the joint wall. The joint should be inclined. When filling, there should be no gap between the sealing material and the joint wall to prevent air entrapment.

③ All kinds of sealing materials have varying degrees of dry and wet deformation. When the dry and wet deformation and joint size are large, the sealing materials should be filled in several times, otherwise the surface will appear "U" shape after the sealing materials dry shrink. In addition, when the amount of one-time filling is too large, the sealing materials are not easy to solidify, and also affect the bonding force with the base layer, Due to the volatilization of residual solvent, the interior is not dense or bubbles are generated. It should be emphasized here that if one-time filling is allowed, one-time filling construction should be carried out as far as possible to avoid layering.

④ Whether the extrusion gun or putty knife is used for construction, the surface will not be smooth and straight, and there will be defects such as grooves, missing fillings, holes, bubbles, etc., so it must be trimmed before the surface of the sealing material is dry. After the surface is dry, it is not easy to repair and it is easy to damage the sealing material that forms the film.

⑤ The construction of the protective layer shall not be carried out until the sealing material is dry, so as to prevent the sealing material from being damaged and failing to meet the requirements of sealing and waterproof treatment.
