Mechanical seal for kettle technical conditions
Only the kettle mechanical seals that meet the technical conditions are qualified products. However, due to their too many models and different equipment, their requirements and production technologies are different. So the quality of the products is different. The main purpose of formulating its technical conditions is to standardize the later production. Its technical conditions include:
1. The flatness of the end face is not more than 0.0009mm, and the roughness of the sealing end face of the mechanical sealing material used for the hard kettle is not more than 0.2 μ m; The roughness of soft material seal face is not more than 0.4 μ m。
2. Parallelism of the sealing face of stationary ring and rotating ring and the face of auxiliary sealing ring in contact; And the surface roughness of the pump mechanical seal position at the contact part between the stationary ring, rotating ring and auxiliary seal ring is not more than 3.2 μ m. The dimension tolerance of outer circle or inner hole is h8 or H8.
3. The tolerance of inner hole size of spring seat and transmission seat is F9, and the surface roughness is not more than 3.2 μ m。
4. The perpendicularity of the seal end face of the static ring of the kettle mechanical seal and the outer circle of the auxiliary seal ring of the static ring, and the perpendicularity of the inner hole where the seal end face of the rotary ring contacts the auxiliary seal ring of the rotary ring meet the conditions.
5. The dimension series and tolerance of the O-ring shall comply with the requirements, and its technical conditions shall comply with the provisions of relevant standards; The built-in bearing used for mechanical seal of kettle is self-aligning roller bearing.
6. The graphite ring, filled polytetrafluoroethylene ring, assembled rotating ring and stationary ring shall be subject to hydrostatic test. The test pressure is 1.5 times of the design pressure and lasts for 10min, without leakage.
7. For multi spring mechanical seals, the free height difference between springs in the same set of mechanical seals shall not be more than 0.5mm.
It can be seen that so many technical conditions need to be met before the use of mechanical seal for kettle. When your mechanical seal meets the above technical conditions, you can choose it at this time.
