Mechanical seal manufacturer Precautions for use of equipment

The equipment quality of the mechanical seal needs to be very high, because it is a kind of oil seal equipment for rotating machinery. It is formed by sticking, swallowing and relative sliding of one or more pairs of end faces perpendicular to the rotating axis under the action of the mechanical seal pressure of the fluid pump, the elastic force (or magnetic force) of the compensation arrangement and the cooperation of auxiliary seals to prevent fluid leakage. Precautions for mechanical seal equipment during use include:

1. The radial runout of the equipment shaft shall be ≤ 0.04mm, and the axial displacement of the mechanical seal is not allowed to be greater than 0.1mm;

2. The sealing part of the equipment shall be kept clean when the equipment is in use, and the sealing parts shall be cleaned. The sealing end face shall be intact to prevent impurities and dust from entering the sealing part;

3. It is forbidden to bump or strike during the equipment process to prevent the mechanical seal from being damaged due to collision and sealing failure;

4. When the equipment is in contact with the seal, a layer of clean mechanical oil should be coated on the surface to smooth the equipment;

5. When the static ring gland of the equipment is tightened, it is necessary to stress evenly to ensure the perpendicularity between the end face of the static ring and the axis line;

6. After the equipment, the moving ring can be pushed by hand, which can make the moving ring move flexibly on the shaft with certain elasticity;

7. Turn the rotating shaft manually after the equipment, and the rotating shaft should have no sense of weight;

8. It is necessary to fill the equipment with media before operation to prevent the sealing failure due to dry resistance.
