Mechanical seal for kettle Leakage cause analysis and treatment measures
In the centrifugal pump and reaction kettle, the seal between the rotating pump shaft and the fixed shell is called the shaft seal device. At present, centrifugal pumps and reactors are generally used for sealing and mechanical sealing.
Mechanical seals are widely used because of their low leakage, long service life, low power loss, no need for frequent maintenance and little impact on the environment. Mechanical seals are complex to manufacture and have high precision requirements. During operation, inspectors are required to find problems in time and solve them as soon as possible to extend the service life of mechanical seals.
1、 Mechanical seal vibration, heating and smoking
1. The end face is greater than the pressure
Treatment measures:
(1) Adjust the position of the movable ring base to reduce the specific pressure of the end face;
(2) Replace the mechanical seal spring to reduce the face specific pressure.
2. Roughness of rotating and stationary ring end faces
Treatment measures: grind the moving ring and stationary ring on the grinding platform to improve the end surface finish.
3. Insufficient cooling and flushing
Treatment measures: clean and flush the pipeline regularly and maintain good lubrication.
