Mechanical seal for kettle Usage environment of
The mechanical seal for the reactor is the mechanical seal used on the reactor, which is a very important part of the reactor, and it directly affects the service life and stability of the reactor. Therefore, to improve the service life and reliability of mechanical seals for reactors, it is necessary to research and produce mechanical seals with higher parameters, so as to improve the performance and service life of reactors.
We all know that the working condition or the working environment of mechanical seal in the reactor is the worst. It is mainly manifested in the following aspects.
1. Stirring shaft side entry reaction kettle: from the lubrication point of view, the mechanical seal used for this type of reaction kettle generally does not have the problem of poor lubrication, but the media page in the kettle must be kept at a certain height.
2. Inserted reactor at the bottom of the mixing shaft: the polymerization reactor has gradually developed towards the direction of large volume, and its mixing shaft has also changed from the top inserted reactor to the bottom inserted reactor. The bottom plug-in type is characterized by short mixing shaft and small bending stress on the shaft, so the calculated shaft diameter is small, saving labor and materials. The short axis is more rigid than the long axis and has less deformation.
3. Plug in reactor at the top of mixing shaft: the top plug in mixing shaft reactor is widely used, and the problems encountered in its sealing are different from those mentioned above. Since the seal is placed on the upper part of the kettle, in the gas phase space (the liquid phase is only when the kettle is full of materials), in order to avoid dry friction of the seal, certain lubrication and cooling methods need to be adopted. The mixing shaft vertically installed at the top has a large length diameter ratio, and the processing and installation accuracy may be low, so it will inevitably produce large winding.
