How to check Mechanical seal for kettle Shaft curvature of
Mechanical seal is a kind of mechanical seal specially used for reactors, pumps and equipment with high sealing requirements. It can provide a good sealing environment for many equipment. It is an indispensable part of some equipment that needs to be sealed, and it is also a part that needs to be used to prevent external bacteria from entering. It enhances the sealing of the equipment. In addition to checking its sealing, how should its shaft bending be checked during normal inspection?
1. The greater bending of the shaft shall be less than 0.07mm. The runout of the seal cavity surface shall not exceed
2. If the seal cavity surface is not perpendicular to the shaft, it may cause mechanical seal failure. Because the seal gland is fixed on the seal gland by bolts, the seal cavity jumps too much, causing the installation of the gland to tilt, which in turn causes the tilt of the seal stationary ring, leading to abnormal shaking of the entire seal.
3. The wear of the mechanical seal and the auxiliary seal of the shaft or shaft sleeve will also increase. Moreover, the abnormal shaking of the seal will also cause the wear and fatigue of the metal bellows or drive pins, leading to premature failure of the seal.
Cooling is the protection of mechanical seal to prevent the sealing surface from burning. In fact, water can be uniformly recycled and reused. After passing through the cooling tower, it can be repeatedly used with ordinary tap water. It is unnecessary to use pure water. If you have to use pure water, you may consider the transported materials.
The main reason for mechanical seal cooling is that the rotating speed is too high, resulting in temperature rise, which will cause damage to both dynamic and static ring seals. If the cooling water is not used and the mechanical seal is replaced, the price and cost will not be mentioned, and the maintenance will be delayed.
